Interestingly, Howard Schultz was not the founder of Starbucks; he was one of its employees who helped Starbucks grow before becoming its CEO and Chairman. He strives to have a company that could have a relationship with its employees.

He wants to build a company that has a soul – a company that has a connection with its community. He insists that all employees get comprehensive healthcare. He also introduces programmes that engage employees and customers.
