Failure, lack of recognition and people are some factors which can cause discouragement among leaders.
On how to overcome leadership discouragement, Eric Lau shares the following tips:
- find someone whom you can talk to and give you sound advice (or a listening ear).
- disconnect yourself from the source of discouragement.
- forgive yourself, and don’t be too hard on yourself.
- forgive others.
- know when it’s time to quit.
