An organisation can be broken down into three ‘buckets’ or groups:

  1. High potential employees
  2. Solid employees
  3. Underperforming employees

 
The approach to develop the three ‘buckets’ or groups varies from one group to another. Not all employees need to be accelerated. For examples, underperforming employees do not really need to be developed; they just need to be upgraded. The solid employees can be developed on a yearly basis. The high potential employees, on the other hand, need to be accelerated.
