Be A Leader: Trust Your Gut

Most times, split second decisions are all it takes to pick between two possible outcomes. Whether it’s the right or wrong way to decide, thin-slicing is something we rely on but perhaps have never really defined it.

Simply put, thin-slicing is an ability that allows someone to find patterns in events based on windows of experiences (or thin slices). Thus, the more years you have about a particular field or profession, chances are you’d make better split second decisions.

In a gist, great decision-making is the key trait of great leaders across the board.
