A lot about who we are today is shaped from experiences we’ve had in our youth. It’s common knowledge that kids need to be given space to explore and experiment to allow them to form their identity while trying new things. Yet we sometimes forget that this space is necessary even till their teenage days. Even then, more emphasis is often placed on the kind of content that young people are consuming today, instead of the context of their development.
