Ray Kroc was a high school drop out turned American businessman who took over the small-scale McDonald’s Corporation franchise in 1954 and built it into the most successful fast food operation in the world.

A man of vision, Ray Kroc wanted to build a restaurant system that would be famous for providing food of consistently high quality and uniform methods of preparation, through mass production in the service industry.

From his passion for innovation and efficiency, to his relentless pursuit of quality, to his many charitable contributions, Ray Kroc’s legacy continues to be an inspirational and integral part of McDonald’s.
