What’s your story, morning glory?

What’s your favourite movie? We bet you can enthusiastically tell us all about it, even if you haven’t seen it in years.

Stories. They are like nutrition for our souls. They are memorable because they connect with us at the emotional level. Why? Because we can relate to the protagonist or the storyteller, and the storyline in some way.

What makes a good story?

What about your organisational stories? Conceptually, they work the same – they connect at the emotional level of our being, customers and employees alike.

In his book The Seven Basic Plots: Why We Tell Stories, Christopher Booker states that everything ever written boils down to seven basic plots.
Using these story frames, you can share your life experiences (or corporate stories) to inspire your co-workers (or your employees/customers) and bring your presentations to life.
